I'm going to assume. you bolt it to the rear shocks so when u get your car trailered or flat bed u can strap it though those and tighten it down

yup, mounts off the bottom of the rear shocks. make sure you use a longer bolt when you put these on. i had one of the bolts come loose after i mounted these and lost one.
