    240hp M30 - $1500 complete w/ mounts

I have a complete M30, ready to be swapped into your E30.

    $1500 includes
    1992 M30 b35
    ECU with Dinan chip
    Conversion mounts
Late model oil pan, ready for your E30
    All accessories, including airbox
WIRED FOR DIRECT PLUG-N-PLAY in your E30

    The engine runs GREAT.

Not included, but required for installation to your car is:
    E28 radiator, E28 getrag 260, E24 M6 coolant bottle, M30 flywheel/clutch (this motor came with an auto)
Literally, this is everything else, and your setup will be exactly as mine.

I think they are 209 stock, but Dinan claims 240 with the chip...

engine has 185k on it, runs and drives if you want to swing by tomorrow before we pull it...

I don't have a transmission or radiator, but I have a (very yellow) coolant reservoir. I have an E24 coming in later this week that might have a good radiator...

Not as big of a difference as you may think! The difference is only about 40lbs

no they dont weight the same but seriously, are you gonna bitch about 16 pounds in weight difference between the m30 and the 24v motors? same power at half the price plus 16 pounds.

you want an m30, lose sixteen pounds once you swap it, you wont know the difference and neither will your car.

                      40lbs from an m20 to a 24v correct?

                        According to http://www.bimmerforums.com/engine_faq/

                        M20 - 260 lbs
                        M50 - 299 lbs
                        M30 - 315 lbs

I dont know the accuracy of these, but it is not that far off.

                        - I would have guessed closer to:
                        M20 - 275
                        M50 - 295
                        M30 - 320

Holy crap I'm tempted Joe! I may end up having to sell my E30 in order to buy something very very special soon though. I'll have a much better idea on Saturday. I'll be in touch!
