I'm selling an OBC to go with this, just FYI.

Is there any splicing of wires necessary to switch from the 6? button one to this one? Does that yellow plug go into the back of the gauge cluster?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

No splicing is needed and yes the yellow plug goes into the back of the cluster.

Note that this is the harness for 84 - 87 cars (will work on later models as well), however if you want the CODE function on the OBC to work on an 84 - 87, you need this harness as it has the C104 connection.

              FYI
