One giant fucking difference, your wheels are probably replicas and his taillights are not.

Shut it, and get a better paying job or sell the car you can't afford to buy quality parts for.

Fair price for a quality product in good condition, good luck with the sale Nico. I'll pass the word on to any potential buyers.

Anyone saying that $400 is too much for these is crazy. The fact is that these were NLA over a year ago, and it seems that they aren't making any more. Case in hand, about a year ago when people found out these were NLA, they sold for $450-500 for a pair in this condition. And they usually sold within a few hours of being listed FS. You people in the peanut gallery crapping on this thread need to pull your collective heads out of each others asses.

Bump for a great seller. I just picked up his other set for the same price and they were in great condition as well. If I had the $$ I would pick up this set as well.

I might be new to this forum, but I have over 20,000 posts on E46fanatics.. The only reason I joined this forum was to get good deals from you guys on parts for my daily driver, not to buy overpriced things for a car that's worth less than $5000.

Yes, they are replicas.. I don't believe in spending $3000 for authentic Alipna's when I bought my car for less than that.

Like I said, it's a DAILY DRIVER. I have an order for a 1 series coming soon.. and that won't be my first "newer car" either.

            This forum's a joke sometimes.

why is this a joke? only because that you don't want to spend money on something which is rare? ok e46 parts are cheap and you can buy them everywhere else but this is an e30 board not an e46 board. some parts are no longer available... if nobody would pay 400 US$ for a set of tail lights i wouldnt ask that price.
and as i said before... if you think thats too much then don't please flame this thread. i wouldnt do that in your threads or flame your car because maybe it looks like a ricer (i havent seen it).

Like it's been said these are $400 due to their rarity and that a DYI job won't look as good as theses will. Although the wide majority of us don't have that kind of change to dump on tails, this price is more than fair.

And at that, I've always loved these but due to their NLA status they keep going higher in price on me! Shucks.

You'll find a seller though on one of the forums fairly quickly.

I get your point.. I'm not exactly flaming.. I've just NEVER seen tails for that price.. Like I've said before, I'm FAIRLY new to the E30 community, so I learn as I go. I apologize only to you for the misunderstanding..

Excelent price, it's sad to see that some people don't really know what they are saying in regards to rare parts.

Good move. Just remember here at r3v. Most of us regulars will police that kind of stuff because we are well versed in it. If you don't know, err on the side of caution, and keep quiet. Hope to see you stick around, you sound like a postwhore. (20,000+ @bf.c)

MHW and Startec lights are very VERY different than other tinted tail lights. The plastic used is actual darkened plastic, versus a layer or two of tint spray and some buffing.

The end result is MUCH different, and looks really nice.

I bought mine for $275 nearly 5 years ago, you know, back when you could get a really nice M3 for $12k.
