Kinda a feeler ***read on***
I just picked up a 525i but I am unsure of what I am going to do with it. I was told of this car by a co-worker so I went and saw the guy and struck the deal with him....
Here's what it is:
1993 E34 525i
Black with grey leather
5 speed
170000ish miles
Decent body (no rust)
Good M50 no rattle/smoke
Newish clutch
The bad
Rear passenger door has a scrape
Front and rear bumper are trashed
Front drivers lights broken
Gear linkage off (circlips?)
exhaust disconected cat gone
Leather worn on drivers seat
Have no clue how it drives
I bought the car as the engine started first crack. There was no battery so I know he hadn't started it before I got there. It ran fine (loud with no exhaust) revved clean with no hesitation or splutter didn't smoke etc. Looked to have a little oil leak from the valve cover.
I got the car for the motor to put into a E30. This is for a feeler on what to do with the car I really want to sell it complete minus the engine/trans/swap parts. I may part it or sell it as is depending on interest.
