These are brackets that I made for my 2002 M42 swap just to make my life easier. A few people have expressed interest in making more and I am happy to do so. I always hated that engines don't come with these from the factory. It's a simple thing that makes life WAY easier.
This lift bracket replaces the stock intake manifold brace and allows lifting of the engine from the front point and this new rear point without needing to remove the intake.
Sometimes you just don't want to open stuff up and you're taking the engine out for other reasons other than top end work.
These are made from 1/4" thick cold rolled steel. (I am open to other materials and thicknesses, but this is what I was most comfortable with.)
These will be bare for you to choose your own finish, I torched and painted mine to prevent rust. $18 picked up, or $28 shipped to your door.
Front view (Bare metal)
Back view (Painted black)
