I have an s54 engine from my e46 M3 project. I had originally bought the engine to swap into my car, but while waiting for its arrival, found a donor car to use instead. Now the engine is extra.
Engine is arriving the first week of July. No pics at the moment. I have heard it run and no issues with vanos rattle or rod bearing noise.
114k miles
I was planning to do the vanos and rod bearings before i installed and would recommend that to anyone. Also would recommend the valve cover gasket and CPV O-ring (Constant Pressure Valve). I can provide information on both.
Comes with Alternator, power steering pump, intake air box, wiring harness, ecu.
Kassel Performance also has a plug-n-play wiring harness for the s54/e30 swap.
