I have a rare BMW built e30/e28 roof rack.
I was told that these were only built for a yr or two when the E30 first came out. BMW later had Thule manufacture them and the design was changed. It was made of extruded aluminum with stamped steel feet and has held up quite well. They were available through the dealership and this unit has all the accessories. The keyed bases are an upgrade along with the bike racks.
Some where though its life someone tried to mount a fairing or a euro tag on the front. It has 2 small holes on the front cross bar.
I have no idea what this is worth at this point. I know this is the only one I've ever seen in person and have turned down lots of crazy offers when it was on my car. I'm basing this price off of past offers. If you don't like the price shoot me an offer.
