So I bought a donor, and started the build. Head re-fresh and other odds and ends. The donor has most timing elements in great shape, and some head elements good also. I just don't know what to do regarding refreshing the lower end...I will ask in the proper forum.

          Thank you All.

It looks like my donor is not in great shape neither, so I am looking for a good looking bottom end. Anybody? I did reply to all the PMs received so hopefully something will stick ;)

Just out of curiosity, how many miles did you put on your M42 before it kicked the bucket?
