Looking for a known good condition M/T trans and hood for the ChumpCar.


Trans needs to be in good working order, no noises, crunchy feeling, etc. Linkage not necessary. '87+ for the year, prefer 'is' so I don't have to plug the holes. output flange doens't matter.

Hood - found one at the local pick-n-pull


Much prefer in the Detroit-ish area so I can pick it up, but may be wiling to buy one shipped if its a good deal.

Figured I'd ask the community before heading down to the junk yard to see what I can find.

I have a trans ran good before removed and cleaned and news seals shipped for $200 in cont 48 states

Still looking locally for hood and trans. Much prefer local to save on shipping hassle/cost.

Also now looking for a single-mass flywheel in good shape. Bonus if it has been lightened and re-balanced.


I live in Detroit and am willing to drive some distance to pick up the parts. Will be in Grand Rapids area this weekend if anyone out there has what I'm looking for.
