all I can find is a set on ebay...I already have a K&N cone filter.

I have the adaptor with a large K&N filter attached (along with a bracket for the air flow meter. I was going to sell them as a kit, but how much are you willing to pay?

Hey charlie-

I've got one from a 91 318is parts car- it's the cone filter adapter which also incorporates a couple of arms to mount to the original airbox mounting points.

You know where to find me..... :)
