    Wanted: Black Houndstooth Bolster Fabric

    Yeah, pretty specific. Haha.

I have 2 sport seats with mint houndstooth, but the bolsters have some major wear. They were patched up by the previous owner, but to be honest, the patches look like garbage. I am looking to replace the bolster material with original BMW fabric, as the reupholster place said the material itself is not sold. It's a "different kind of stitching" according to them. So, does anyone have any of that? I am not sure if it is a specific material to the houndstooth. Code for my interior is 0211, anthracite. Let me know. Thanks!

Bump. It may share some relation to another seat, not sure.

If you needed the houndstooth pattern, I have a small sheet of that, but it sounds like your after the grey portion of the fabric. Best of luck!

Yes, unfortunately I am mainly looking for the grey portion. Is it that rare? Also, how much Houndstooth do you have? I may be looking to redo a very small portion on my rear headrest in the future. Thanks!

good luck finding these bolsters took me a yr to find them....and that was only one side. My suggestion, try to find black leather or vinyl bolsters, and swap all bolsters to have a two-tone look. I love that look.

A YEAR!? Woah. And they don't share any properties with any other seat? I need to have the seats done fairly soon. Well, I am trying to keep it somewhat stock. Any pics of that look?

I don't think the fabric bolsters are shared with any other seat (at least that is easy to source).

Here are pics of someone else doing the black bolsters.
