I am about ready to kill a baby. My car has been having a problem where when it gets cold out, the driver's door won't close, it just bounces back at you when you try to shut it. The latch used to have a problem where it froze and would not shut, so I carried a lighter with me to warm it up the past winter seasons. Now it is to the point where the latch won't grab onto the striker at all, it still bounces back open whether it is frozen or not. And I'm pissed. Especially because this assembly cost $205 new from Pelican.
So, I need a door lock assembly for a driver's side door. Here is a picture for reference:
