16" Epsilon Southern Ways PRICE DROPPED!

Selling a set of relatively rare Epsilon Southern Ways wheels. 16x9.5, 5x120.65(5x4 3/4 Chevy) bolt pattern. Offset is et +30. Picked these up off the original owner who had them on his 1984 Corvette. Manufactured in '86, he only ran them one season before doing a brake upgrade, at which point they no longer fit. Stored in a climate controlled garage since the late 80's. Excellent original finish. Needless to say, you will not find a nicer original set. Zero rash.Asking $900, open to trades. Make an offer. No junk or lowball offers. Shipping on your dime http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/pts/4377758084.html

Theyre high offset wheels so adapters would work splendid

Beautiful wheels. The hurdle that you're going to have is this: most here have a 4x100 PCD which means adapters would be needed which addsto the overall cost of the wheel. Once you add in the cost for tires, mounting & balancing + shipping the buyer would be near if not over 2k in total cost of ownership. Once a buyer gets into that range, it opens up options for real 3 piece splits vs epsilons.

What do you mean by real 3 piece splits and not epsilons? Epsilons have a face, a barrel, and a lip. Its as 3 piece as a BBS RS as far as I can tell.

                Smart man.

You see BBSs every single day. You don't see these two of them and definitely not in this nice of shape. They are nice 3 piece wheels that are period correct to our cars. these wheels were purchased off of Tire Rack in the 80's for over two thousand dollars.you had to of been ballin pretty hard to be rocking me is back then. And would still stick out of the crowd running them to this day

No offense or ill intent was meant by my comment. As I stated early on, they are a beautiful set of wheels. Epsilons were always meant to be the less expensive alternative to BBS & Compomotive wheels. While they are a 3-piece wheel, their designs were knock-offs of the BBS Motorsport E50 line as well as the Compomotive CX & FX lines. Craftsmanship & materials is where Epsilon cut corners as evidenced by most of their hardware experiencing severe corrosion over time. The other downside of wanting to own a set is the cost of rebuild or upsizing. There is no longer an Epsilon company & therefore there are no parts to be found so everything has to be custom machined. Which again drives the price up on a set of wheels that were not meant to be expensive & as I stated above begins to put the wheels at the same price point of BBS, HRE, CCW etc. The good part though, is that these are absolutely worth what you're asking if you can find the right buyer that either has access to free machine work or already has adapters to make these work. Good luck with your sale.

No worries, I was just clarifying your statement.

If you see a great condition set of E50s for $1200 let me know and Ill buy a truckload. Same goes for the Compos! Heck, $2k for a set of E50 this clean would still be a nice score I think.

Oh im not offended at all. It is what it is. Im not hating on BBSs either but its nice to step outside the box and be different than the vast majority of people.
