SOLD
Alright, this thread is up as a feeler as I decided I'm happy with my daily being on RPF1s/azenis and even happier the rpf1s fit over the bbk.
just completed and built with no expense spared
the goal was to build a set that looked the part and required zero upkeep. wipe them off with a rag after the track or after driving a few weeks. no polishing, no work to keep them looking the way they do..
----
15x8 bbs rs001 4x100 original, flat backed faces 57.1cb
faces chemical stripped, glass bead blasted, powder coated gloss white, then diamond cut for the brushed edge of spokes and finally clear powder coated to protect it all.
same for waffle plates
new german forged lips 2".
lips radially brushed to match the finish on the faces, gloss clear powder on top
oem new old stock barrels 15x5.5 stripped, glass bead blasted, powder coated satin black
triple chrome stainless steel bolts
serrated zinc plated nuts
half height billet hex caps mirror polished gloss clear powder on top
white/gold bbs logos
bbs metal valve stems with bbs stem caps
backspacing is just about 5", so size all around is approx 15x8+25
added 225/45/15 hankook rs3 which are currently sold out across the country. meaty but perfect fitting for a more performance oriented build
15x4.5 spare tire with 125/90/15 new tire
same goes for the face, inner and outer halves both brushed and clear powder
2 sets of center waffles, one oem rs finished to match, the other billet flat waffle with vinyl spare tire markings
Ive had these up on the miata forums for a couple of days but no one over there has any money..
3300$ all inclusive, shipping available if needed on buyers dime. that would be for the 5 wheels and 5 tires. seems like a lot initially but when you factor in 650$ worth of tires, mount and balance, sourcing and finishing a spare wheel with new parts and a 90$ randomly sized new spare tire its way cheaper than your average finished 15" rs set

showing the finish a little better

few more pictures from this weekend. the brushed finish is much more obvious in real life, hard to capture in photos surprisingly

15x4.5 spare with oem waffle in place.

NOT splitting the set at this time, and no trades. Just decided to keep the 14s on my miata for next year, so wont be using these as intended
