Yeah, file a PP claim for straightening all 4 bent wheels.
Fuck the bitch-ass seller who, although contacting buyer, makes a large sale on this forum, and seemingly disappears after such a questionable sale and hasn't replied to this thread, so this transaction The several sets of Euroweaves/BBS RZ wheels (15x7, ET 24, 4x100) I've had for years were a PITA to acquire, so in reply to Jokester's comment on "see[ing] like 5 wrecked m tech convertibles in the last year, with these exact wheels..."

In retrospect, I wish I had not purchased them, but I’m making that best of it. Just after I bought them I got a message from someone local offering me their set. I asked if I could cancel this order, but the seller said no. Trying to buy those didn’t work out either (they decided they’re not ready to sell yet). I’m not sure why I’ve had bad luck sourcing wheels. I bought these based on ‘bmwextremeguy’’s recommendation. He said he bought a set of wheels from this seller and they were beautiful. I’m not sure if he got lucky or if they’re buds working together. It would be nice if I was in Germany and could get a set there. I was watching this auction that ended today at €256 (~$291). They have a little curb rash, but look pretty decent for that price!

Hopefully the seller will respond beyond, IMHO, the inadequate email remedy to buyer, and leave an adequate reply. If not, with this large of "sale gone wrong", I would DEFINATELY leave transaction feedback here:
Sorry man, I won't wish this type of transaction on anyone. Hope it all works out for you!1989 332iS AW2 @ 2,342 lbs. m20b31 (JE FSR 10.5:1; 284/280 cam; ST+1 Intakes; RHD 40mm ITB/CF Plenum; Stahl 1.5"/CRMB X/Borla XS Pro; TMS J-Stock suspension (Ver. 2); M3 E3 undertray/VAC CF splitter; exhaust blown difusser; (Teves Mk60 ABS in trunk next)

I believe we are working out a satisfactory solution. He has offered to send a lower refund than I requested, but is going to send me a 5th wheel.Comment

You would have been better off buying them brand new. The only hard-ish part would be finding the caps, but most original caps are in poor shape anyway..Comment

I enquired with the BMW dealer about their availability. Both the standard finish and Nogaro are currently showing as 'discontinued'. I think that is why used sets are priced so high right now. I don't know if they can be backordered. BMW may have more made in the future since it looks like they were NLA before and then became available again at some point last year, but we don't know when that may be. I already purchased new caps. Those are still available.Comment

They still show up as available (and in the ETK) - 36111179066. Although I know that is not always perfect. Hopefully they are just on backorder..
The Nogaro centers have been NLA for a couple years now. I'm so glad I got mine when I did, even though I don't use them - I paid like $75 for the set (with caps!) and another $300 to have them refinished.Comment

Where? Online? That's not accurate. I messaged them earlier this month. I asked, "Hey, Is part 36111179066 available to order, either from US or Germany?" BMW dealer's response: "Hi, it looks like this part has been discontinued." Then I asked about the Nogaro one (36112226898), also discontinued. The Nogaro centers are available (36132226806). I just received a new set last week from the dealer.Comment

Ninja edit!
Yeah, they show as backorder. Hopefully they don't go NLA, but I get it - these cars are older than dirt now.Comment
-
So you're just hanging on to a set just to have? That's weird. $300 is a good price for refinishing them. The wheel shop near me wants $500 to refinish.Comment
-
well they match my car (ix). And I know I will probably not ever find another set that cheap!Comment

So they're iX weaves? That explains why you got them so cheap. :)Comment
