I'm not shipping these things, and I'm half ready to sawzall the tires off and take the wheels to the aluminum scrap yard, but I thought I'd put it out there: I have 9 bottlecaps. I'm probably buying some aftermarket wheels soon, so here's what I have, prices by each:
$15 1x Hankook 185/65/14 6/32" tread, mild wheel curbage, good center cap
$25 2x Bridgestone 195/60/14 8/32" tread, faded roundel centercaps, few scratches, price is each
$15 1x Futura 185/65/14 5/32" tread, mild wheel curbage, good center cap
$15 1x Toyo 185/65/14 5/32" scratches on wheel, no center cap
$10 1x Toyo 185/60/14 oddsize <4/32" tread, scratches on wheel, no cap
$10 1x Uniroyal 195/65 oddsize <3/32" tread and the rubber is cracked in tire. Deep scratches in face of wheel, no centercap. Worst tire in the bunch
$25 2x Falken Ziex 195/60 7/32" tread, 1 wheel has lost it's shiny finish and has no centercap, one has a faded centercap and mild curbage, priced each
Out of the bunch the second toyo and the uniroyal should really have their tires dismounted as they'd only be good for burnouts. I wouldn't feel good about anyone driving around on them. The wheels are fine though.
The best set that could me made for someone looking to put some decent rubber on for cheap is the two bridgestones in the front, and the two falkens in the back. Not the prettiest wheels, but by far the best tires, with good tread. Buy these 4 together, and I'll knock it down to 80$
Help me out, and get a cheap replacement tire set or some burnout tires.
I'm in Salem, OR, and I drive throughout the Valley for my job, so I can meet you half way if you're in the Eugene or PDX areas.
