Final price reduction: Refinished TSW Venoms

$475 shipped to the continental United States.

If these do not sell, I will be sitting on them indefinitely. It is not worth it to me to lose any more money on these wheels than I am already losing.

    A Photoshop courtesy of Raxe:

For sale is a set of refinished TSW Venoms. 17x7, 4 x 100, ET 20. I purchased these used and sent them to RimPro to be professionally refinished, where they were checked and returned to factory true if necessary, stripped of the original finish, and then powdercoated a gorgeous matte black. I was informed that one wheel had a small crack on it, less than an inch ling and on the back of one of the lips, but that it was no problem to weld, with the work being performed under RimPro's exacting standards. I originally intended to run them on my E30, but have found a set of wheels that I like better, and need to sell these to subsidize the sale.

These wheels have not had tires mounted, and are still at the refinisher.

The below is for those that are curious about RimPRO's refinishing process.

RimPRO is not cheap, but I trust their services above every other wheel repair company in the US. At least that I have personally dealt with, as I am sure people feel similarly strongly about great companies like Wheel Collision Center in PA, or any of the other accredited companies out there.

Their process and price list per wheel is as follows:

    Refinishing
The wheel is first checked in and visually inspected for cracks and bends. It is then straightened if necessary using our proprietary straightening process to within +/- .010 inch. It is then cleaned and sandblasted. Now, any missing pieces are welded back in, and machined down. Next the wheel is primed using top quality etching primer for the best possible adhesion and corrosion resistance. Then OE matched color is applied in two coats, and two coats of clear are applied over the color. The wheel is then cooked under a shortwave light for ultimate hardness and abrasion resistance. The final product is in fact of higher quality than the OE finish, and carries a lifetime warranty against chipping, peeling, or discoloration.

They are still at the refinishing shop, I have no need to pick them up because I have not yet decided to keep them.

Yes. You would pay me, and I have an arrangement with them to ship directly from their facility and I will cover their cost.

The wheels are actually sitting at D-Force wheels/ACE Performance Systems, which is in the same enormous building as RimPRO, and it in the interests of 100% disclosure it would be D-Force who would be shipping them out. ACE/D-Force is building my E30, so I had the wheels shlepped the 100 yards or so down to them from RimPRO when I thought they were still going to be used on the car.

How much do the spokes bow out from the lip? I did a quick search but didn't find any satisfactory pictures.

They bow out a good amount. Much more than suggested by the photoshop pic in the first post, where they look flat. It is honestly the source of the greatest common criticism for the Venoms. However, the matte black finish of these wheels does help minimize the bow effect compared to the stock brilliant silver paint.
