A while ago, I noticed Karbonius posted about working on a DTM-style carbon airbox for the S14, mentioning that they were making a mould from an original Wethje airbox. I reached out to them for more information, and while I haven’t heard back just yet, I wanted to share it here as there may be interest in a potential group buy. See below:

Karbonius previously ran a successful group buy on Bimmerpost when they released their carbon plenum for the S65B40. Based on my experience, that plenum is hands-down one of the best on the market—it gives the NA V8 a deep, throaty sound that stands out, even compared to (alternative) high-end options like eventuri.
What’s also great about Karbonius is that they include filters for their airboxes (S65, S54, and S50B32), which could save many of those here from the usual hassle of sourcing custom filter solutions, especially for the S14 airboxes that people traditionally buy.
I've felt their products in my hands, and I can tell you for a fact that the quality is much, much better compared to other aftermarket carbon parts available for these cars.
I thought this could be an excellent opportunity for the community, so I thought I would share it.
