You just about have to run the rears without the adjuster to get it the lowest. For the fronts you can cut the perches and modify the adjuster sleeves to get a bit lower, almost TOO LOW for normal DD duties. Check out the first few pages of this thread, there's some photos of what was done to tuck tire front and rear on a lae model.

So quick and stupid question. Obviously these allow you to lower the car, but when these are installed, they can be put to close to stock height? I tried finding the answer in the original GB post but only saw lowered cars. Not saying that I wouldn't lower it, just be nice to have it at the stock level when needed.

I'm pretty sure the early 318i models are the only ones with small diameter strut housings.

My rear springs look identical to that, 3 coils together in the center??

'eh, worst comes to worst, just replace the rears with Eibach's and you're golden. That's what I did just to get the early fender arches to sit a bit more.

Still a steal but I didn't and still don't like how the rears (and the rears only as my fronts are still perfect) sat/bind. They very well could be sleeper coils. Just strikes me as odd having the main center 3 coils stacked on each another.

Has anyone had the rates tested yet? I'm not bottoming them out, that I can feel. Could the center section be sleeper coils?? The very top and bottom part of the coil is evenly spaced on my car. FYI, I ordered the Coupe set.

I'm confirming that the rear springs are not as advertised by these pictures. Those are WAY to soft and far too bound up to be effective.

    Here's what mine looks like...

There is almost nothing in the trunk, just the spare and some small odds and ends.

Here's a shot of the whole car, it needs washed badly...

If it stops raining here (SWFL), I'll try and get some updated shots of mine. It ended up going lower than the last pics I posted up on here. Plus with the Euro grills and iS lip, it really compliments the car.

I'll try to snap some of my early coupe when I get home from work. It's damn low in the front (cut perches, all the way down), the rear (no adjusters) is a tad higher than I wanted, but I think it gave it a nice raked look.
