It will fit. All E30 upper rear shock mounting locations are the same. Won't fit a convertible though with all the extra metal in the way. Dont know about a touring.

Will these fit a 87 vert?

So far I don't believe so. If you've pulled apart your trunk you'll notice that there is a sort of makeshift firewall preventing you from reaching the top of the rear strut towers. That would have to be cut out in order to install the bar and I don't recommend that.
