for reference, I beat the hell out of this thing and it takes it. I'm sure the splitter helps a great deal as well. Mounting is somewhat of a bitch, seeing how you have to make your own holes. Plus side is that it comes with nuts/bolts and if i lose this lip, the odds are I'll lose the valence as well.


ALSO those who see this as a little pricey, Its pretty much the same price as ordering straight from Rieger.

I depends on the scrape. I scraped mine going up a driveway at the Picnic, and it cracked all the way through from top to bottom. They are ABS plastic, and crack extremely easily depending on where they are hit and flexed, and the amount of force applied. A simple scrape can tweak it in just the right manner to crack it.

Mel, is the price on the splitter itself set by Rieger, or by you? In all honesty, I find it hard to believe that the price for a straight slab of ABS is the same as a piece that uses 3x the amount of material, made of the same material.
