Installed mine yesterday. Took me a little long to do @ around 1.5 hours including bolting everything back up.

Fired up the first time though, perfectly smooth idle...and I noticed a difference RIGHT AWAY.

Big ups to Mark for providing excellent customer service and updated info along the way.

Wouldn't hesitate to do business again with Mark.

I have since dyno'd my 318iS Red is after the Markd Chip, Blue Before. I have a loud exhaust and 300k km's on the engine :) Certainly made a massive difference and the car is a dream now.



P.S. Aussie dynos seem to read a fair chunk lower than the numbers you guys in america get. These numbers are on par with standard m20b25 numbers over here

got mine a couple of days ago...installed....at first didnt seem heaps different...but man oh man has it changed the lil M42.... I love it, definitely recommend. Mid range is HEAPS better and seems quite a lot zippier as a result.

Will be on the dyno soon for a back to back.

Mark, still waiting to hear back from you on my email / PM with some questions. I know you've been pretty busy the past couple weeks, and luckily my car is idle right now :)

Does anyone know if this chip work with all of the Motronic 1.3 DMEs (eg 173, 380, 524, 525, 526)? I mistakenly thought I had a 173 and just checked today to see it's a 525... :-/ I can't find very much information on the differences if any, just that there are different numbers with 173 seemingly being the most popular.
