Thanks for the help. I also read someone using w5w bulbs? I'll go with 194 ambers though. I knew wiring shouldn't be an issue, just worried about them being bright enough to see at night with headlights on. Guess there is only one way to find out. I appreciate the response.

i used walmart 194 bulbs and they look good. i didnt use amber though.

it would be easy to wire into the turn signal light. when tapping the wires, the running lights and signal lights wiring run side by side. so just pick the wire you want and, bam... done.

Can someone tell me what bulb they used for the city light. I've searched and have come up with different answers. Also has anyone wired the city light to act as the turn signal? I'm looking to delete my turn signal and was wondering if the city light is bright enough to work.

Will these fit earlier Euro models ( pre 1986 )

They will fit all BMW E30's. Some models might need more wiring work depending on what type of lights come stock on the car.

These look great! Hopefully the chrome ones will still be $180 when I finish fixing my suspension. I've unfortunately had to consider selling my E30 because of the cost of maintaining it.
