If you had sealed beams and are converting to smileys, just buy an H.I.D kit... If not, you'll have to buy the adapters, and bulbs, it'll come out more expensive and the look won't be as good... MY opinion as this is what I did. :)

where did you find a HID kit that goes from a H4 plug, which the sealed beams have, to the 9006 which these headlights need?

UNIVERSAL 9005/9006 Wiring Harness is Included for Easy Installation, but earlier E30 models with sealed beam headlights will not be able to use those wires.
NO BULBS ARE INCLUDED!

yea, i have the rings and all the mounting hardware. i wanted to know if anyone tried to put the rings on and mount the motors.

has anyone mounted the headlight washers with these? I dont wont to buy them if i cant use the wipers.

I think it depends on the rings and grilles if you want to mount washers.
