I know it is "slightly" off-topic, but I know that many e30 owners also have 2002s but don't visit 2002faq.com anymore. So, I developped crossmember tabs to make the 5 sped conversion a snap, and much stronger than the rail method, or the horseshoe, which can heavily oscilate under load, destroying a guibo in a very short time. Basically, I have reproduced parts that BMW stopped offering 15 years ago.
5-speed conversion brackets are ready to ship. They allow to install the rear crossmember in the sturdiest way possible: the way BMW intended it. The mounting tabs are made from laser cut stainless steel and are bent on a CNC machine. Kits comes with all fasteners. They make the conversion a snap. Put the tabs in place, mark the holes, drill them and bolt the tabs. Shorten the crossmember and your done. The tabs have 12mm adjustement, front to back.
The tabs can be mounted with the supplied stainless steel domed head bolts and Nylocks, or they can be tack welded, or by using rivets.
Cost is $45usd per set of two tabs. Plus $8usd shipping.
Total is $55usd (oncluding Paypal's fee) paid by Paypal at massivebrakes@gmail.com
Shipping as soon as payments are received.
