I bought the 60/35 spring only kit from Mel. So far so good. I have no complaints about these springs. I installed them together with Bilstein Sports. Nice drop, nice stiff ride.

Not sure about the weight difference - if any.
If you search the forum, you should find quite a few pictures.
The most popular setup has been the 60/50mm drop front/rear.
