Measure a 10" woofer, then go measure your beast...Image Dynamics says 11.9" across the face.

    Is their tech wrong?

I can get a normal 10 and 2) 3" ports through the ski boot...but 2) 3" ports are actually a bit big for a normal 10. We are gonna build with 2) 2" ports first, then see what it sounds like.

Patrick, I have no clue how the "Zen" edition is gonna work out. Next week, I am gonna get hold of a car with the Zen brace installed in it, and get some careful measurements.

Hopefully, there is enough space to get this to fit, just don't know.

The ported 10" box (largest 10" box) is only 4" at the top...as in, 15" from the floor, the box is only 4" deep, measured from the vertical braces.

The car we are doing first has a normal late model seat, as in full foam padding. We are gonna cut out about 3" of padding, so it will basically be that same (or just a bit thicker) than the M3 seat.

Since 100% of the bass is sealed into the cab, ports and all, it should just rock. Cannot quite tell from here, though. I just don't do guessing well. I like to know from firsthand experience!

I can tell you this...that box is nice and small. Hit up JParker, he has the prototype in his trunk right now, only partially finished.

Just about done on the legal battles that are keeping me from this stuff. I am gonna pick up some more 8" subs on my way back North, but need to get back to work so I don't lose my job.

Shirkit Shitty closing down means a whole fucking BUNCH of shitty installers looking for work, I don't wanna lost my job right now...paid insurance FTW!

    Soon, guys, soon.

PayPal is setup, gonna start hitting a couple of guys up soon.

    Luke

I used to do a lot of single 8" boxes with a single 4" port...I sure did like that, so maybe 2) 3" will work out well.

Patrick, the thin box is still awaiting developent. I will he hooking up with a car that has one installed when I get back home, early next week.
