I had a good experience with Adam! Honest, and truthful. Here is why:

He first showed us a great example of how a "wheels for sale" thread should look like here: BBS CH 17x8.5 et15

I received emails, and TXTs from Adam keeping me posted on the status of the wheels as they were packed (and wait till you guys see how they were packaged) and shipped. All 4 boxes had their own tracking numbers and I was emailed as soon as he got them!

Then skip a few days and the boxes arrived at my house today!!! This is what I got.

    .

    .

    .

Each wheel had foam around both the front and rear lips, and the front faces were all covered by a foamy wheel cover to protect them from minor scratches and what not.

These wheels are so clean that I don't even know if they were ever mounted on a car!

Adam thank you for a great transaction and awesome wheels!!!

More photos of the goodies 8-)

for $900 you'd expect 4 of the same wheels. they were in near destroyed condition so the price wasnt low at all. every lip had atleast 1 deep rash with minor rashing nearly covering each lip. clear coat was SCREWED, caps were painted and not done right at all as they were cracking real bad. wasnt looking for perfect wheels, i wanted wheels that could be nicely polished and refinished. not wheels that need all new lips.

as said numerous times. i was fine with no bbs centers, bad caps, terrible clear coat and the rash. because a redeamable set of RS for $900 is ok.

3 ss lips, 1 aluminum lip, 3 sets of stainless bolts and 1 of chromed steel bolts i am not ok with.

this is transaction feedback .. supposed to be truthful so others know. above is the truth. whether him, me or some other guy likes it or not.

alright douche bag. are you blind and cannot see the pic ? look at the wheels. your telling me 3 grown men cant see that one is different ? i didnt rush anything. i ordered a set of 4 rims and recieved 3 and 1. simple as that. he didnt explain anything about different lips and bolts. $330 just for one new replacement SS lip shipped from the only place i can find it. turns my "cheap" bbs find into a very not cheap one because the seller didnt check out what he was selling.

the point of feedback is to let others know how it went .. i got screwed. others should be aware of who i got screwed by. idc if you, him, or the other guys cares or likes it. its feeback and it was truthful.

look at that first picture. the SS lips reflect blue while the aluminum lip reflects white. 3 people looked over the wheels and didnt see it. did you all look at them in the dark ? i had just (supposedly)bought 4 matching wheels, why would i sit there and check to see if they were really 3 and 1. thats something the seller should know especially if him and 2 other people looked them over. as a buyer you dont buy a set of wheels then assume you got screwed and didnt recieve 4 of the same wheels.

anyone reading this can look at the first picture i posted and make a full assesment just from that. because that picture shows them in their raw form direct from you minus tires.

I was never dishonest over the condition of the wheels. You're right; two other people besides myself looked them over, and didn't notice the different lip, or the (internally) rusted bolts. I'm sorry they didn't turn out like you wanted them to; I would have been disappointed as well. But again, there was no way of knowing the condition unless they were taken apart.
look at the first picture and its very clear, and as said in my PM .. 3 of the wheels had different bolts which was clearly noticeable. so 3 people looked over the rims and none of ou noticed 1 wheel with at minimum the different bolts or the completely different shine of the aluminum lip ? are you all noobs or were you looking at them in the dark ? you said you knew alot about bbs and blah blah .. and you couldnt tell 3 stainless lips apart from an aluminum lip with chromed bolts?

if you want to argue about this you can. fact still remains of what you sold me. at a minimum other people should know you dont really look over what you sell, or if you do your just blind. andif you didnt notice i was PM'ing through another account, that account was never verafied so i could never leave feedback. this account is, so now i can, and have.

Here are the PM's sent after the transaction.

"3 stock lips, 1 aftermarket aluminum lip. they dont match at all. curb rash is bad on all 4.

all 4 center caps are useless as im sure you knew.(dont really care about that)

one wheel the bolts were rusted all through on the reverse side. the other 3 wheels the bolts were painted and i had to chip all the paiont off to tale them apart and underneath they are in bad shape.

center nuts are also painted and ill have to fully refinish them.

    faces and barrels are good.

these wheels are far from bieng worth $900 considering you can buy a fully refinished set of rs211's on ebay for around 1600 and on the forums these rims go for around $900 not needing so much stuff replaced. "

I mentioned the curb rash in the FS thread; none of the rash is serious or deep, and it should not be an issue to gently grind it down.

All 4 center caps were in good shape. Do you mean the emblems? I told you via PM that the emblems were faded out, which you can also see in the picture. I did not notice that the caps had been painted; that I apologize for.

As you could see, I never did clean the wheels. All I did was insure there were no cracks/welds/bends, check for damage, and then list them for sale when I found my RM's. I had no way of knowing there was paint on the nuts, or that the bolts were rusty where you couldn't see them. If I had taken the wheels apart and cleaned/re-sealed them, the would have been $1500 RS's; not $900 RS's.

They're straight, have never been cracked/welded on, and the lips are more than salvageable. After shipping, I effectively sold them to you for $720, which I still believe is more than fair. Polish the lips and center nuts, replace the BBS emblems, and you have an unusually clean set or RS211's.

"im not worried about the emblems, you did tell me they were bad which is why i dont care about them. the center capas themselves are painted and one of them the threads are sawed in half and the slip ring isnt there.

as they were, the differences were unnoticeable other then one wheel had bright silver bolts and the others had dark yellowed painted bolts. once taken apart the lips are very different. i polished the aluminum one first after i tremoved all the rash. then after doing the other 3 it became very clear one lip does not belong with this set at all. 3 of the lips are dark almost chrome shine. and the aluminum lip is much lighter and was much much easier to sand. as they are the lips are unusable, 3 lips match and one very noticeable odd ball. the rash i can deal with.

if you would have taken these apart im sure you would have been just as dissapointed as i am. when they arrived i was very happy and looking foreward to rebuilding them. now i have to source 3 more lips because nobody sells these almost steel lips, everywhere has aluminum. "
