Looks like STU has a lot of posts, but based on some of the other responses to this thread doesn't seem he's to "Reputable" in regards to his business dealings on here. That's why you need a true transaction rating system that is tied to each member.

You don't get shit. If he's got things going on, then he shouldn't be fucking selling stuff if he doesn't intend to send it out. And if he knows it's going to take a while for him to get this stuff out he either needs to hold off on selling it or be able to keep the buyer's updated and STU has done neither. If you don't Ban people who fuck other people over on this Forum, then who do you Ban? Audi owners?

I dont know the guy. I dont even know who he is. But if he never sent any items out, and never even got back to you, maybe hes got other shit going on. Either way, take care of what your business. Send parts or money back, I get that. But Ive been in the same situation before. I had a bunch of shit to ship, and had to move. It took me a good 3-4 weeks before I got to send thigs out. I dont know him, but hopefully he just had something come up, and hes got some catching up to do.

Exactly. Being around here for a while, or having a father that is prominent in the community should not get anyone immunity.

But a ban isn't in order. I think a page should be taken from the s14.net book; just change their user title to, "Don't do business with me" or something like that.

Thanks for all the positive support. I've sent him a load of messages that he has just ignored and I know he's been on the site because I checked his profile and it shows the last time he was on so finally I just gave up and decided to start this thread. It's literally been 4 weeks now since I sent my MO out to him via Priority Mail so I figured it wasn't just an "Honest" mistake.

Honestly, I don't care that much about the $95 bucks I'm out, or all the time I've wasted, but what really pisses me off is having an asshole like STU ripping me and others now confirmed by earlier posts off and still being allowed on the site. As I mentioned earlier, I'm on a lot of Subaru sites and I take pride in my trader rating on those sites and I make it a priortiy to make sure anything I sell gets out timely and that the buyer is happy. Why, because they aren't just some stranger, they are a member of the same forum that I'm on and that means we have common interests and I respect that.

If somebody knows STU, tell him to find his balls and return the money to the people that he is cheating and to try to learn how to respect others. Its so easy to rip people off when your far away, come to my house and try to steal from me and see what happens.

This thread is not for his benefit. He knows what's going on, the fact that there's a thread about it is mostly for the benefit of other potential buyers.

Like I said- Stu is a really good guy, but there is no excuse for this shit.

Pete (Stu's dad) did run Precision Performance, but he never really had a stand-alone shop. It was basically a one-man operation out of his basement (nothing wrong with that- just clarifying). AFAIK, he's not building BMW stuff anymore, and I don't think he ever had a "shop" phone.

Besides, Stu is a grown man, calling his daddy's shop isn't really the right way to handle this IMHO. His dad has nothing to do with this situation.

Communication. It's not that hard, if someone PM's or emails you a bunch of times asking about where the hell their parts are- the worst thing you can do is ignore them. If you're having problems, delays, whatever- tell the buyer what the deal is. 99% of the time they'll be OK with it, the other 1% of the time they'll pitch a fit and you can just offer to refund their $$$ (provided you didn't blow it all at the gay adult bookstore on their "2 for 1 gloryhole extravaganza") You know who you are........cough...cough....Blunt........

If you can't follow through with the parts you sell, send a refund and your apologies. If you can't meet the buyers terms, do the same- you'll both be much better off.

There is no excuse.
