Discussion on Curt's poor selling habits started again here: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...=173808&page=3

Your CYA claim is that you shipped the spacers.

If you did ship parts as you say in August/Sept 08 time frame, how come you never mentioned anything in the PM’s/emails we did have?

PM on 9/5 looking for status………… No response
PM on 10/2 looking for status…………..No response

Posted on the r3v board looking for Curt 10/14 and 10/16………..No response

Sent email to Curt 10/16 looking for status:

Response to my email on 10/16:]“There has been a fairly large snafu and problem. The shop I paid to make them has since disappeared. My friend that worked there is trying to track down either the billet, or the money for me to have someone else machine them out. Sorry for the lack of response, I rarely check my PMs on r3v. I have over 100 unread, little daunting.”

So how come you never mentioned anything about shipping the spacers? The PM’s, posting and email never mentioned anything about a set being shipped.

The amount of PM’s in your inbox isn’t really a good excuse for not contacting a buyer about status of a purchase.
You had multiple chances to let me know the parts had shipped. Its reasonable to think that if you had actually shipped the parts you would have said something to that affect.

The difference between my transaction and the most of you others is that the spacers I was purchasing were custom pcs you were having made, not garage clean-out items that you have sitting on a shelf. When you machine shop shut its doors with your billet you lost $$, you came up with a CYA story and passed that loss onto me. Thanks

Ironically, the brace showed up today, which is the day after my 24v went in. I waited over 2 months for this brace.

Bottom line, the part showed up. However, shipping was extremely slow and communication was poor.

Never gotten a voicemail from you and I have replied to nearly all of your PMs. Sorry if it wasnt the day of or after as I am not on here everyday.

Also, I just found some emails from you that arent to the email address I sent you and that is listed on my profile. You sent them to my account email which is where all my notifications subscriptions sign in info junk mail etc go. Not the one I check ever or use for correspondence.

I sent you a PM as well again today. And no, I did not send it via a trackable method as you arent domestic and I didnt ask you to pay more because of it. Just went out regular USPS.

I didnt even know this thread existed until today. I dont troll threads typically, just look at threads I have posted in prior.

No replies to private messages or voice mail messages.

Curt specifically requested that my Paypal payment be sent as a 'gift'. I assumed he requested this so that it would bypass the 3% Paypal fee, so he could keep the full payment amount. This type of payment does not allow Paypal disputes to reverse the transaction.

Did you mail me my part Curt? It's been 7 weeks. Please provide some additional details, or send me my payment back.

It's close to 6 weeks since i sent payment for a transmission cross member. Curt said he'd have it shipped out on that upcoming weekend.

I don't believe he has actually shipped it at this point. Last week, he offered to show me a receipt for the shipment, but has since stopped replying to all private messages, I have attempted to reach him by phone several times, I have not been able to reach him.

Everyone should do themselves a favor and avoid dealing with Curt.

Its been over 5 weeks. I feel a tracking number, is the next logical and FAIR step. That way I follow up on the item since the seller is ignoring my contact attempts. Can someone please ask him for a tracking number for me.

    Thanks.

I spoke with him regarding this thread and he said the part went out a couple weeks ago. If it was sent USPS (i dont know this fact) then it can take up to 10 business days to receive the part.

I know he is going through some personal shiz right now so a response to this thread (and JeffRRs fraudulent claims, which is in another thread BTW) might take a few.
