    KishG

I bought a GC coilover kit off him. At first I was happy with the transaction, and everything appeared to be there, new and unused. I guess that we both failed on this one. He advertised this kit saying that he's got the same kit on his e30 325i and his e30 m3. Never occured to me to ask for the part numbers off the shocks either. So, when the install date finally came, I found out the hard way that I was looking at m3 front strut inserts, not the 325i ones. So, I referenced the part numbers on the shocks with Koni's online application guide, and I even got a set of mustang rear shocks too. I hope that all is well with those too. (They are top adjustable, and have metal protection tubes, big plus!)

Long story short, I contacted him about what was going on, and he stated that he would talk to his supplier, and try and get the issue resolved. Sounded sincere at first, until he started ducking a few phone calls, then I just said screw it and just bought the right ones from a reputable vendor.

If anybody is interested in some Koni S/A 8641-1210 front strut inserts LMK.
If anybody is interested in buying stuff from KishG in New Jersey, keep a heads up, and ask him lots of questions. Whether he knows what he's got to sell or not, that's all up to interpretation. If you don't like private transactions due to return policies being virtually non-existant, and the ability to duck phone calls, etc., just go buy your shit from a real vendor.
