I'm doing an s50/m50 head swap to my car. I have an m50 NV harness. I'm using a 140amp alternator from an e34 m50.
I was supposed to get my car back. But the tech who is doing the swap said he can't give it to me because "it's sending too much power to the computer"
What does that even mean ? He said it's because I did the harness and didn't use an adapter. I cut the wires from the harness and attached them to an e30 connector. I'm really good with electricity and wiring. I read 3 different pin out charts and made sure I did the wiring correctly. But he said I didn't and that's the reason why it's sending too much power.
I am a bit confused. Can you please help me? Thanks
