S52 main accessory belt tensioner removal?

I need to replace the deflection pulley. Since the s52 is so cramped in the front the bolt that goes through the pulley into the alternator won't come out because it's too long. It started raining so I wrapped up my work but is there any other way to get the bolt besides taking the rad out?
