S52 318is fuse blowing and other issues

I am looking at a 91 318is with a 98 S52 that has a couple things going on. Just looking for suggestions before I make the 5 hour drive to look at it in person.

The car seems to run good, but blows fuse 21 which causes him to lose the tach and econometer. I assume there is a short somewhere. From what I've seen online could be reverse light harness, glove box light, trunk light, etc.

The check panel and check engine light are on (independent of the above fuse blowing). I realize there are a ton of things it could be, but is it possibly just an issue with the cluster?

if i had to guess, one of the radio wires is grounding out somewhere, since it's on the same circuit.
