what about a crank pulley? and what size blower pulley? sorry about the 20 question investigation but just trying to wrap my head around what I am going to need to buy vs. make -
Are motors spin clock wise so you will need a clock wise supercharger. Not many of them are for CCW.
For a NEW supercharger through Vortech your looking at about 2000.00. Vortech offers a trade in for old superchargers and they will give you 500.00 for your old unit and sell you a new one for about 1500.00
Heres a link for Vortechs site and it shows some info on the chargers they sell.

what about a belt tensioner? also what direction of rotation is needed for the blower? do you have a part# of your vortec and I could give my local dealer a shout to see it they have any info about it and dealer cost for one.Leave a comment:

looks like i am going to want one with spacers too. my decision is pending the abs pump clearance issue. i just need to know that the two are compatible. if i have to move the pump over toward the driver side fender an inch or less, i can make that work. i just wouldn't want to remove it.
also, i spent some time perusing the vortech and paxton web sites tonight. you mentioned that this bracket should fit either compressor. are you sure? the mounting holes look like they will fit the vortech, but i'm not too sure about the paxton. this could be an issue in that there are superchargers for sale on local craiglist from both brands. it would suck to buy the wrong one.Leave a comment:

I didnt have time to check this weekend. I will try and get to it ASAP.. but from when I had the bracket mounted up last time I didnt see it being a problem.

bump for this answer on the abs :), i'm interested in the bracketnow that you have photos posted, that looks like an exceptionally good design. most sc brackets that i have seen run a separate pulley forward of the a/c pulley off the crank, thus causing an interference issue with the radiator. how much clearance do you have from the abs module? can you use the facelift/e36 style radiator with this?Leave a comment:
