Your Pin 20 is not right. There was never a brown yellow. Theres red/yellow (which needs +12v for the ABS) that started mid 89, and theres brown all the way up to mid 89. If you add 12V to that youll fry your harness.

Thanks for useless post without any REAL information as to what/why they are wrong, to I assume put your name in a post to sell one of your 24v harnesses.

That being said, the green chart i posted, worked 100% for my 89 325i on my obd1 24v swap.

Also I have 11-19 for the SI reset, this is just a chart though NOT A TESTED HARNESS.
That was discussed in another thread a week or so ago and I gave the answer.

11-19 is for SI and it does indeed work. I reset my SI on Saturday after the oil change. 1989 325is-1999 e36 M3 OBD2 harness.

bring this back fromt the dead.

I have an 89 vert and for the life of me i cant seem to get my tach working. i tried two different possibilities and neither have worked. IIRC the late models, (basically after 86 right?) we don't have to deal with the C104 thats under the dashboard, and our speedo, tach, and fuel economy should be connected through the c101/x20.

am i missing something. I'd really like to get my tach up and running.

I threw this together tonight, will let you guys sort through my stuff atleast a little easier. any questions, just ask, this is untested, and I have no clue if it will actually work, so do not make your own based off of this, then blame me when your car explodes, catches on fire, or throws itself into a lake.

Adrian, im pretty sure your correct on 11-19, after going back over this tonight my notes seem to go with yours. Thanks buddy.

well damn, i have 3 wires that dont go to the same colors. However it could be my choice of connectors for the adapter, c101 came from a e32 and the x20 came from a 93 ish e34

15-15, 11-11, and 8-24 didnt match up color wise.

For the time being: I have 15-15 hooked up and I'm pretty sure I have 16-22 hooked up too. I think Hersly's right about 16 not going anywhere.
