I used one from an R53 Mini Cooper S. Stock belt works perfect.

    BMW/Mini part # is -- 11 28 7 520 199. I believe it is a 6PK1388 from Conti.

I would drill out the hole a bit and stick a rod in the hole that matches the size and epoxy that shit in.

I also heard I can use the relays from my m20's harness. True?

Thats been ported and polished for sure but nothing that should concern you.

@moss: 506 wasnt EWS but you are correct in the chip working with a 413 red.

Also I need the three relays in the wiring harness, is there a place I can buy them or do I have to go to the dealer?

So I'm looking for opinions. I bought this motor without knowing much about it other than the guy telling me it was pulled from Steve Dinan's son's car and has about 60k on it.

The head has some machine shop markings on it, and my dad says it looks like the motor hasn't ran since the work was done, thoughts? This is looking down cyl 3's intake port:

    Also I have this:

Did Dinan do anything crazy with their motors I should know aside from the ECU?

I know it's been said but I can confirm a couple things.

I'm running stock chip from a 506 EWS box in a 413 red, no issues

Im also running stock s52 flywheel, clutch, PP in a G260. When I slip the clutch I get a rattle that I suspect might be flywheel deflecting and hitting something or other, but I can go weeks without doing it. Letting other people drive it they sometimes do it. To be honest I don't know what it could be, maybe e34 oil pan...maybe bell housing of trans, if I ever have it apart I'm sure I'll see rub marks and know for sure, either way...do me a favor will ya. Get trans synced up with motor while it's out of car, pull it off far enough to put a piece of clay on the ring gear teeth then mate tranny and engine tight and let me know if clay is smooshed to nothing. That would explain my noise I think.
