Motor is M52B28 from a 98 328i. Trans is a 97 M3 with an M3 clutch, pressure plate, F1 racing lightened flywheel, and S52 starter if that matters.
I found this broke off in the bell housing which destroyed the output shaft bearing and seal. Don't really see why this could have happened? It really looks to me like combination of parts didn't work right.
But I'm looking to buy a new ZF trans from a 97 or 96 328i and want to know if my clutch pack is going to work right with it?
