Get a manual transmission and really enjoy the car, this isn't cruisin' usa..

I believe Jasper aka jannaboi completed an m50 auto tranny swap for someone already. I'm not sure if he'll spill the beans regarding exact procedure and tips though.

It can be done, swap over the auto stuff with ecu, find correct driveshaft, pair of linkage and drive.

Hey R3V, got a quick question has anyone here or anywhere else that you know of has done a 24v swap with automatic trans. I searched but with no success or luck....here's the thing my buddy just picked up 90 318 automatic vert. And he has an OBD1 converted s52 ready to go in but wants to keep the car auto reason#1 his wife can drive it (IMO her lazy a$$ should learn how to drive 5spd lmao) #2 he's a career truck driver so he's tired of shifting gears and wants this car to be a weekend toy that he's gonna restore and when finished put the car in D and go!!! Any leads or help in this swap will be greatly appreciated and thanx in advance Scott from CT.:p
