    Advice Needed on brake lines

I am new to the Forum and am finishing an M50 swap. I have installed a brake booster from a 735 as well as the master cylinder. I now need to plumb the two lines from the master cylinder to the ABS. I think I can modify them to fit but the ports on the master cylinder are larger than a stock E30. Has anyone run across this as well? Are their adapters available to step up the diameter or do I need to fabricate new lines? If new then where is the best place to buy the parts. Any advice would be most appreciated.

hmmm? my 7 series master used the same diameter fittings as e30. i suggest you stick with your stock lines and find a master that will work with what you have.

congrats on becoming a new member with your first post and all.

don't use adapters. cut the brake line ends off and get the correct size fittings for the mc.

btw, i'm local and had to do this on my swap. drop me a pm if you need/want help.

I think we'll try that. I'm now searching for the thread pitch and diameter of the master cylinder.
