Also I have an auto m50 harness if you need.

IMO continuity test the connectors to see where they go. The only one I had to use the wire colors for was the TPS for some reason. Once you lay the harness out most of it will make sense. There will be a bunch together that will need some attention but the injectors, AFM, O2, Alt, Starter will pretty much be self explanatoy. BTW the connector that runs with the AFM goes to the Charcoal cannister vavle. There, don't say I didn't ever give you something! :)

The ETM's are your best bet. You match wire colors on connector ends to the ETM and what they do. Attach accordingly.

damn it...I don't even remember who sold it to me. I didn't realise it until tonight when I starting plugging everything in. Good thing its still on the engine stand.

If it has no knock sensors it is not VANOS. You're going to need a different harness.

I was sold a "vanos" OBD1 e34 harness for my S50 but it doesn't have connectors for knock sensors. Would this even be compatible with my 413 red label or am I going to have CEL's...or a no start?

damn it. Looks like I need to source a new harness...
