Help with 24v swap

If you want to learn about how to do a swap spend more time reading the forums, the info is here and YES you do actually have to look for it.

I know you grew up in the age of instant gratification but guess what buddy you actually have to use some effort to accomplish things in real life. Offering people $20 to do your research for you is about as lazy as it gets and proves that you actually have no idea how much information you actually need to gather.

Well either that or you actually think that $20 is a substantial amount of money (just because it is your weekly allowance doesn't mean it's alot of money okay).

haha ok maybe youre right and maybe youre wrong. I wasnt asking for the basics, I just wanted to know some more in detailed stuff. I made this thread after I searched for over 4 hours today and still didnt find any GOOD information. But dont you worry, Ill get the swap done in one week, without paying someone for a complete list. Hey, Ill even start a nice thread with a complete list of everything I needed for my m52 swap. And not because I like you guys, but because the downfall of R3V is the user group; important information is not easily accessible without hours upon hours of searching. And the best part? Im only 18 and have never had any type of automotive education, nor have I been taught by my parents or anyone else with automotive experience. I learned everything I know by just doing it myself since I was 16 with my first BMW (which happened to be an e46 with all the fun problems of that model, that I all fixed myself)

So call me what you want, but I know what Im good at and that is working on BMWs. And just for fun, Ill attach some pictures of before and after of my e46... Oh and dont forget, I was 16-17 when I had this car and payed for everything myself. I think Ill be just fine when it comes to working on my e30, too. :ohsnap:

Nobody cares that you taught yourself about cars, that you paid for them yourself, or anything. Guess what? We all did, too. And we didn't bitch and moan about the info not being spoon fed to us.

You're going to create a thread with your parts list? Sweet. Add it to the MANY others that you would have found with a little searching.

The downfall of this forum? Right. See my sticky at the top of this forum, which you will have to use to complete your swap to figure out the wiring. But hey, I'm sure you'll do much better and create a better writeup. No need to thank me for the time I put into that, since it's useless to you.

Thanks, I was thinking no more than 5 solid days of work if I take my time and have all the parts together. But soon I hope to impress all my buddies on R3V when I show them my M52 swapped e30 with zf trans and 4.10 diff spinning tires in 3rd :giggle:

Oh no!!!!! Someone on the internet claimed to do something that is difficult, but not impossible. Im going to drop everything important and spend time to call them out so I can increase my e-badass points

They look like shit what ever they are and if you knew anything you would see that I have 5-lug on my e30

I see that. I like the style 5s. But I agree, I did not like my VMR rims. So thats why I sold them and got a set of OEM style 32 rims.
