Im putting the rings in right now. Block was just honed, not bored. I put the new rings into the bore and the end gap is measuring 2-4 thousandths over maximum specification.
Can I use .25mm oversize rings and file them down to get the gap to close up? I've heard of this...just want to make sure I can do it before i spend $180 on another set of rings.
