Dude, please search. The answer to every question you've asked has already been answered multiple times. Hell, the comprehensive parts list thread is about all you need. And FYI, you need an e30 m3 driveshaft if using the zf (again, in the parts list thread). As for the diff, if you're using the zf, use the diff that came with it. I'm sure the ratios of each both the zf and 260 are around (if you search), and using a gear calculator you can figure out what speeds each gear produces with different final drives.Leave a comment:

I have a coupe m3 so I will be using the driveshaft out of that, can I use the m3 diff as well? That will make it easier right?Leave a comment:

The only driveshaft from an e36 m3 you can use is the one with a 4 bolt rear flange if you want to use the e30 diff. So, said driveshaft has to be from a coupe/vert because I believe sedans are a but longer. Not sure if sedan's are longer, that is just what I assume.Leave a comment:

Somebody please answer this question! When doing. S50 /zf swap, is it easier to use e36 m3 drive shaft or stock e30 driveshaft?Leave a comment:

Im planning on doing the same thing to my car and i have 2 qiestions for you guys:
1. the S50 engines you have in your cars are US spec i presume?
2. What tyre sizes are you running on the back and how much grip do you have/don't have?

sweet. I just Pmmed you pics of the spacers. I love the long tube headers but if you want them to bolt on then get the shortiesLeave a comment:

So what do you recommend? Something between 3.23 and 3.73 or just keep it stock?Leave a comment:

A 3.73 with a 260 should be fine as those were designed to go together. A 3.73 and a zf is what will kill you. The stock gearing for the e36 m3 with a zf is 3.15 or 3.23, so a 3.73 will be too short.what if i have a zf tranny? the guy told me the headers i bought were the shorty one. i couldn't tell the difference and they looked longer than the other ones in the pic. but i have the oem m3 exhaust so the headers i got have the flange that bolt up to stock e36 m3 exhaust. i just hope they work out as sweet as yours did!!Leave a comment:

I planned on going to the last one then i found out I had a bent valve from the race weekend before...So now shes out of commision to get the head fixed.

I love them. I have the long tubes. They sound good, not alot of rasp, and the quality is great. I just had to put a spacer underneath my swaybar mounts to keep the headers from hitting the sway bar. I can get the spacers if you are interested in them. let me know
3.73 will be murdering your mpg at hwy speeds if you have the 260 tranny. you will be doing 80mph at about 4k rpm. I know most people dont go over a 3.46
