Im not 100% convinced my dipstick is as advertized. When at the top mark on the dipstick, my oil level light is on (1qt low). To get it off, I add 1 qt oil, and am above the full mark.
Can one (many) of you please post the number that is at the bottom of the dipstick so that I can check mine for comparison (mine is 1735995) this number does not cross in ReaOEM, yet the number on the bottom of my E36 dipstick crosses just fine.
Can you also post the level that you keep the oil at on the stick, IE 1/2" below top mark, at top mark, etc...
