Can't Twist the Shift Selector 10 degrees

when i did this, i literally took each end of the selector and put it into the ring part of 2 spanners. it twisted with no effort. piece of cake!

um.....this isn't that hard to do at all. put two deep sockets on the studs and bend till you get to 10 degrees(give or take). you're bending the studs not "twisting" the selector rod.

I cut the selector rod about 3/4ths of the way through, twisted it fairly easy, and welded it.

I just went to an autoshop and they let me borrow their vice.

Me and a bud used iirc a couple of vise grips and moved with ease.

we also slipped jack handles over the vice grips for leverage
