This is driving me nuts and it's incredibly annoying:
The 330is will occasionally just refuse to crank. It's not the ignition switch - that's new and the starter solenoid clicks when it doesn't crank.
My best guess at this point is that it must be the starter itself. It's more likely to refuse to crank with the A/C on, which I assume is due to current draw from the fan. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions before I sink $200 into a starter? The engine ground is good and the whole thing runs well once it has started.
To be 100% clear, this is not the low voltage clickclickclick situation that you gt when the battery is dead. There is one completely different click and then nothing. It has always *eventually* decided to crank, but this random factor is more than a little bit unpleasant.
