Hey everyone, i just picked up a complete s50 motor from a 95 m3 with about 200k miles on it with wireharness, red label ecu (obd1), etc. Definately going to rebuild this baby with bigger cams, supercharge it, before i drop it in my e30. Going to be a while til everything gets peiced together but just like i rebuilt it cosmetically with a full custom paint job, will definately need to rebuild it for power.
As of now, my e30 is running on the stock m20 with an intake, headers, straighpipe and magnaflow exhaust, sitting on JOM coilovers with 17x8.5 esm wheels back and 17x7 front. After my swap i want to keep my magnaflow as it has a 2.5" diameter going in and since the s50 i got came with headers, will probably just run a custom straight pipe from that to my muffler 2.5" maybe 3 but well see later.. want to keep my getrag 260 tranny but i heard i will need a custom mount for the transmission..
At the moment, im browsing for my swap parts that i need:
-iX brake booster
-e34 oil pan
-e34 throttle cable
-e36 engine mount arms
-e28 535i or m5 engine mounts
-custom tranny mount since im going to use my getrag 260

Any help willl be greatly appreciated, im a bodyman so i mess with cars daily not as mechanical as id wish but i get myself in there. Would like to hear some feedback and recomendations on other members with the s50 swap and definately wand some input on what supercharger setup to run. I've been looking at the c38 supercharger kit level 1 on turnermotor sports or the HKS kit, will definately need help along the way as this is my first build thread! Stay tuned!
