i had a m52b28 engine last year and i modded it with a m52b20 head, i had 17.5 bar of compression 253 psi. The engine block was from a m50. I did not race a stock m52b28 with it's stock head to see the difference of power.
the thing is that i'm searching for different engines to swap and currently looking at v8's swap that are a bit expensive vs 24v swaps.
my plan is to buy a m52b28 engine and swap the head for a m52b20 but put the larger m52b28 valves in so that i would hopefully have the 253 psi compression back and get more power from the bigger valves.
what would you suggest i do to get a higher compression not considering hc pistons?
